The original 1960's Justice League included seven DC Comics super heroes as Green Lantern, the Flash, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter.
The team appeared first in The Brave and the Bold #28 (March 1960) comic book story that was conceived by writer Gardner Fox as a revival of the Justice Society of America, a similar team from DC Comics in the late 1940s. A year later after just 4 issues the Green Arrow joins ithe league. The world's smallest hero, the Atom, is added to the story line in 1962
