Bane Mask Collection

Bane has usually been depicted in DC Comics and in the movies as a formidable adversary of Batman. There are many different iterations of Bane's mask. Here the mask design is a stylized white & charcoal grunge texture geometric shape with black outlined rectangular red eyes against black. Simple yet evoking Bane’s threatening demeanor.

This mask design will be familiar to anyone who has played LEGO Batman: The video game, an action-adventure game developed by Traveller's Tales. In addition to the first installment of the four LEGO Batman series, LEGO Batman 2, was released on June 19th, 2012, 3 LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham was released for multiple platforms on November 11th, 2014, and LEGO DC Super-Villains was released for multiple platforms on October 16th, 2018. The Lego DC Super-Villians game provides a unique spin on the series by featuring villain characters as the main protagonists.

Although the Bane mask is not an exact copy, it is certainly reminiscent of the Bane lego figure's mask and even more so of the depiction of Bane in the DC comic's storyline found in Batman-No Man's Land vol.#4.

this video game came with its own plot, not one based on the movies or directly from DC comics. Published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment who released it for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo DS, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OS X.

The game, still available on Amazon, features two distinct campaigns:
a hero storyline, where the masked man and his stalwart companion, Robin, fight the villains one by one while attempting to thwart their dastardly schemes.
a villain storyline, where the player assumes the role of the villains as they attempt to carry out their plan while avoiding the Gotham City Police Department.
